Stockholm Nation is one of 13 student nations at Uppsala University and has existed since the middle of the 17th century and has had a permanent location since the 19th century. When it was time for the rebuilding of Stockholm nations, Bakficka “Stockens”, in Uppsala, we were commissioned to manufacture a metal curtain in bronze for their bar. A specially made metal curtain with locking of GR.100 metal mesh in bronze now adorns the front of the bar shelf. The evening lighting reflects the light on the parked metal net when the bar is open and complements the otherwise warm interior.
