Djurgården Stockholm
Architect: White Arkitekter
For the Little Circus at Djurgården in Stockholm we produced several measurement adjusted bronze curtains made with single welded rings. Little Circus is a new, fresh facility and addition to the original arena Circus which has existed in Djurgården since 1892. The addition was drawn by White Arkitekter and was inaugurated in October 2015.
For their modern design the metal curtain Chainex 07 in bronze was a great fit for a room divider with its open area as they want to keep the open feeling in the room. The bronze curtains are mounted in parallel so that they can be wrapped around. They are mounted on wheels/glide that runs in rails mounted in hat profiles on the ceiling. With the different bronze curtains the room can be limited and create new rooms in the room. When the curtain is illuminated you can definitely feel the exclusivity.
