To the exhibition at the Historical Museum “Massakern vid muren – slaget om Gotland 1361” we were asked to produce metal mesh Chainex 07 in stainless steel of single welded rings, like chain mail. A metal mesh that can be created in a piece without interruption up to 23 sqm. The metal mesh is placed in stands together with parts of weapons, dropped horseshoes and parts of armor that has been sliced off in combat. Parts from the battle where 1 800 gotländska farmers was killed in a brutal combat against a Danish army, led by King Valdemar Atterdag.
