Beirut Café

Material: Antique brassplated steel

For the historic and newly renovated Östermalms Saluhall in Stockholm and the market hall’s new restaurang Beirut Café, we have specially manufactured metal mesh for their well-made interior. Metal mesh M22P.83 in braided solid brass, which look a like rattan, for their screens, counters and ceilings and antique brassplated metal mesh TXZP.3 designed like towers, metal mesh selected by the architects for the genuine and warmly welcoming interior. The antique-plated metal meshes are polished by hand to make the bright alloy sweep out into the dark oxide layer, which creates additional depth and a soft feeling in the metal net. In this newbuilt Beirut Café project, we have collaborated with Skuggans arkitekter, Lerch Träinredningar and Sjöö Fabriksbolag.
